Fall Fashion: Blush Tones
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Fall is my favorite season. Something about the cool mornings, early sunsets, and the beginnings of Autumnal festivities make the season seem so romantic. I wanted to translate the romance of the season using the color blush in 3 different Fall looks. Blush also happens to be one of my favorite colors and it can be we worn all year long. A Touch of Blush
For this look I used blush mostly as an accent color. We all know black is a go-to color for anything, but it also pairs nicely with blush. I bought these loafers from ASOS for the color and also because they are good work shoes. I added the pink crossbody bag as well to add more color.
The fan-print on this dress gives it a bit of flair, and I love the print! It is sheer from the waist up giving it a risqué factor to an otherwise pleasant silhouette. But my favorite part is the sleeves, which are also sheer and have a bit of a bishop-sleeve quality without being too billowy.
I would wear this if I wanted to dress up a little bit at work, although I’d swap out the black bra underneath with a cami for modesty!
Blush & Brown
This look uses blush as the main color of the look. I bought this dress from Cotton On and it was on sale for under $12! I really liked the small ruching details on the neckline as well as the sleeves.
At first, I wasn’t sure what color would look good with this dress since it’s such a delicate shade. I remembered this pair of brown lace up booties that I bought a while back, but haven’t worn in a while. They are perfect for Fall and complemented the dress well, without being too harsh or too light.
To accessorize, I picked this brown hat from JustFab to wear and a matching crossbody from Roxy.
Probably my favorite from the bunch, just because I like a good statement piece. The pleated skirt alone makes a bold statement, so I paired with a simple black crop top from Zara. Pairing it with black makes the color pop more, and if you look closely there’s a metallic finish on the skirt.
I chose these satin bow heels from ASOS to match the top. These heels add a classy touch to anything, plus the bow detail is adorable. Keeping accessories to a minimum, I wore a blush hair clip, moon pendant necklace, and my pink JustFab crossbody.
This look is dressier than the other looks, so I’d save it for a date night or a romantic dinner.
I hope you guys enjoyed these Fall looks as much as I had styling them! I have more Fall fashion heading your way as we make our way to October. Comment below which your favorite look is!
